  Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is a variation of a recipe from Pillsbury's Best Cookies Cookbook.

Although we tend to use 3 cups of chocolate chips in this recipe, you could use two or three cups of anything you like -- for example, vanilla chips, raisins, or any combination.

Servings: 60

1 1/2 c butter (softened) 3 eggs
1 c packed brown sugar 3 c flour
1 1/2 c white sugar 1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp salt
1 c cocoa powder 18 oz chocolate chips

1) Preheat oven to 350.
2) Cream butter, and sugars.
3) Add egg and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
3) Add the remaining ingredients (except chips) and mix until blended.
4) Stir in the chocolate chips.
5) Roll dough into 1 inch balls, place on sheet, leaving about 2 inches between balls.
6) Bake 10-14 minutes, or until the cookies are set.
7) Cool on the cookie sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
