This is a variation of a recipe
from Pillsbury's
Best Cookies Cookbook.
Although we tend to use 3 cups of chocolate chips in this recipe, you could use two
or three cups of anything you like -- for example, vanilla chips, raisins, or any
combination.

packed brown sugar |

white sugar |

baking soda |
| 2 tsp |
vanilla extract |
1/2 tsp |

cocoa powder |

chocolate chips |
1) Preheat oven to 350.
2) Cream butter, and sugars.
3) Add egg and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
3) Add the remaining ingredients (except chips) and mix until blended.
4) Stir in the chocolate chips.
5) Roll dough into 1 inch balls, place on sheet, leaving about 2 inches between
balls.
6) Bake 10-14 minutes, or until the cookies are set.
7) Cool on the cookie sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
